About H&S Eyecare
We are an independent, family-owned ophthalmic practice dedicated to providing all of our customers with up-to-the-minute professional eye care, a fantastic range of eyewear products, and a great before and after service without charging over-the-top high street prices.

In addition to vision tests, we also provide a wide range of eye care services, including VDU testing, contact lens fittings, glasses servicing, and state-of-the-art OCT scanning and digital photography.

Our team
Our professional, GOC-registered optometrists and dispensing opticians, eye wear specialists, and customer service and support staff, are committed to delivering outstanding eye care to our patients and customers.
Free lifetime servicing
If you have purchased your spectacles from us, we will service them in store, free of charge. This service includes frame adjustment, nose pad adjustment / replacement, tightening loose screws, and giving your glasses a free clean and polish.
Urgent eye care service
As a Community Urgent Eyecare Service (CUES) provider, we can offer urgent assessment, treatment or referral for sudden onset eye problems such as flashes, floaters, vision loss or minor eye injuries.
Old glasses collection point
We are committed to helping not just our local community but people’s vision around the world. As the Littleborough Lions Club Recycle for Sight registered collection point, you can drop off any spectacles that are unwanted or no longer required.
Thorough eye tests
Your eyes are unique and require personalised care and solutions. That’s why we always allocate 40 minutes for your eye health screening and vision test plus the time you need with our dispensing staff to discuss your best options. You can also choose the Advanced Test* option which includes an OCT scan. *Additional charges apply.
