Do I need to book an eye test before ordering new frames?

If you are due for an eye test, we will need to allocate an appointment time for you with our eye specialists to check your eye health and ensure your prescription is up to date. If you simply wish to order a spare pair or sunglasses, contact us to see when is best to pop in and choose your new frame with one of our dispensing opticians.

Will I be able to check if a frame is available?

Absolutely. We will be happy to advise if a particular brand and frame you have seen online is one we stock or can order for you. Please make a note of the frame details before contacting us for more information.

Do I need an appointment if I just want to choose frames?

We would strongly recommend making an appointment so that we can ensure our dispensing optician is available to help do the necessary measurements. If you require prescription lenses and haven’t had your eyes tested with us, please bring a copy of your prescription with you.

Is it best to have a spare pair of glasses?

This is completely up to you, however many people choose to have a spare pair for emergencies in cases of damage or loss, or simply to have options. Ask our staff to see if we have any special offers available for buying more than one pair on the day.

How long does it normally take to receive my new prescription glasses?

This depends on whether we need to order your frame or if we already have it in stock, and the complexity of your prescription lenses. We usually estimate 7-10 days. We will contact you as soon as they have been quality checked and are ready for collection.
